ULTRAFLEX engine control cables are made of plastic-coated stainless steel. Resistant to UV light, saltwater and with unique flexibility, strength and always easy to use. Meets the requirements of all engine manufacturers and can be adapted to virtually all engines with special fittings.
HOW TO FIND OUT HOW LONG YOUR CABLE SHOULD BE:
• Measure the distance from the center of the engine to the corner of the boat, line A.
• Then measure the distance from the center of the control box to the corner of the boat, line B.
• Then add the two lengths (A+B) and add 3 feet so that the cable is long enough for the engine to have full freedom of movement.
• Gear/throttle cable = total length
