ULTRAFLEX engine control cables are made of plastic-coated stainless steel. Resistant to UV light, saltwater, with unique flexibility, strength, and always easy to use. Meets the requirements of all engine manufacturers and can be adapted to virtually all engines with special fittings.
HOW TO DETERMINE THE REQUIRED CABLE LENGTH:
· Measure the distance from the center of the engine to the corner of the boat, line A.
· Then measure the distance from the center of the control box to the corner of the boat, line B.
· Then add the two lengths (A+B) and add 3 feet to ensure the cable is long enough for the engine to have full freedom of movement.
· Gear/throttle cable = total length
