Stainless steel fork terminal from Blue Wave.
A terminal is used to secure the end of a steel wire rope so that the wire rope can only move in one direction. For example, it can be used functionally to fasten a structure, or architecturally for exhibition purposes. In addition, they can be used to fasten a mast in a so-called stay to stabilize the mast and thus the boat.
The terminals are roll-swaged onto the steel wire rope, meaning the terminal is crimped around the steel wire rope using a tool to secure it to an anchor point.
Danish Blue Wave manufactures its products from a single block of stainless steel, meaning there are no welds and thus their products can withstand extra stress.
