ULTRAFLEX engine control cables are made of plastic-coated stainless steel. Resistant to UV light, saltwater, and offering unique flexibility, strength, and always easy to use. Meets the requirements of all engine manufacturers and can be adapted to virtually all engines with special fittings.
HOW TO DETERMINE THE CORRECT CABLE LENGTH:
· Measure the distance from the center of the engine to the boat's corner, line A.
· Then measure the distance from the center of the control box to the boat's corner, line B.
· Add the two lengths (A+B) and add 3 feet so that the cable is long enough for the engine to have full freedom of movement.
· Gear/throttle cable = total length
