Originally developed for the American military.
Effective in temperatures down to -50 °C and up to +260 °C. Silicone tape
also insulates 8000 V per stretched layer. Tensile strength has been tested
above 700psi and effectively seals leaks up to 85 psi (6 bar).
PSP silicone tape has good resistance to weak acids,
fuels, oils, solvents, salt water, ozone, UV light and flames.
This means that the silicone tape can be used in many different areas, e.g.
to make emergency repairs as quickly as possible, bring items home and
avoid unnecessary damage to the boat.
