The trim tab kit consists of 2 cylinders mounted with 1.8 m cable, 2 trim tabs with mounting brackets and screws, and a 6.1 m extension cable fitted with a plug-and-play connector. REMEMBER the control panel.
How to use Trim Tabs
Into waves
Trim tabs are lowered slightly by pressing Bow Down on both contacts. This lowers the bow while maintaining speed. This adjustment helps the hull absorb the impact of the waves, leading to a more efficient and comfortable ride.
With waves
The trim tabs should be fully raised by pressing Bow Up on the contacts. The trim tabs help the stern down so that the bow does not dig into the waves.
Crosswind
The trim tabs are lowered on the leeward side by pressing Bow Down on the windward side until the boat is upright. This results in less spray and a more comfortable boat ride.
Side weight
The trim tabs are lowered on the side where the weight is located by pressing Bow Down on the weighted side until the boat is upright. This results in less spray and a more comfortable ride.
Starting
The trim tabs are lowered slightly by pressing Bow Down on both sides. This provides buoyancy to the stern and lowers the boat's bow. As you accelerate, the speed increases, and you adjust the trim by pressing Bow Up on both contacts until the trim feels right.
