Gelcoat is pigmented, slightly adhesive polyester that forms the outer colored layers of, for example, a fiberglass hull. Topcoat is Gelcoat that contains 5% paraffin solution and forms the outermost sandable and polishable layer on a gelcoat surface. The consistency is slightly thixotropic, so the product can be applied by roller, brush, or spray. Gelcoat and Topcoat in 1kg are standard items in the 7 colors shown below, but can be custom-ordered in the same colors as those found in the small 100g filler packaging. Several hundred other RAL and NCS colors can also be custom-ordered from a Nautec dealer. (Price on request). Hardener not included.
