The frame is made of hot-dip galvanized steel and the steps are made of wood. Prevent corrosion and galvanic erosion of your dock ladder/extension by mounting an anode on the metal tubes to be protected. Stainless steel (both AISI 304 and 316) is unfortunately also susceptible to galvanic erosion. A suitable anode is shaft anode Ø: 32 mm art. no. 1143324, which fits well on the ladders' tube diameter.
