Many motorboats have outboard engines, and with an outboard engine, your options for heating the water in the hot water tank are limited. With this diesel-powered water heater, you get fast and efficient heating of your hot water, without being connected to either the engine or shore power.
The water heater uses diesel fuel and must also be connected to a 12V power supply. It is compact, easy to install, and provides an output of 1.5 to 5 kW depending on the setting. The system heats the water in the loop up to 86°C. Everything is controlled via a digital control panel with an LCD screen.
Water heaters also have more uses than just heating the hot water tank. They can be used to provide heat to the cabin, as well as to preheat inboard engines. A water heater thus provides a practical solution that can be configured in many different ways. The heater has no fan, making it quieter than air heaters.
